Sangwara

Sangwara was a project under the label Worldbus Records. It was started in 1996 by Gabry Ponte and MTJ Capuano, alongside Claire Thomas and Jeffrey Jey. They produced covers, aside from their final release "Find A Way" - their only release this doesn't apply to. Sangwara was one of the largest-scale projects under Worldbus, with "Don't Speak" being, with no doubt (lol), their most popular release.

"Killing Me Softly" was also relatively popular, and received a music video which can be viewed here.

[Excerpt from Sangwara: The Ultimate Resource]
"Sangwara was started in early 1996 by Gabry Ponte and MTJ Capuano with Claire Thomas and Jeffrey Jey. At that time Gabry Ponte was the founder and producer of Worldbus Records, one of four labels under the production company BlissCorporation. One of the first releases was a cover of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio, printed under the name Sangwara, named for the secretary of Massimo Gabutti (BlissCorporation founder), Kamaruk Sungwaraporn, according to BlissCo's A/R Department, they liked her so much that they named the group after her. Sangwara spawned five releases over it's two year career, four covers and one original, and became one of the biggest projects to be released under Worldbus Records."
