Domasi
Thomas Albrechtsen, commonly knows as Domasi, or Domasi Albrechio, is an Denmarkian musician and DJ. He has released many remixes, and a handful of original songs. He loved to listen to trance and dance at a young age, and eventually, the Italian sound produced by Gigi D’agostino, Eiffel 65, DJ Ross, Gabry Ponte, and others won him over.
He produced his first italodance songs in 2003, inspired by his friend Severo. Domasi's first alias was "Gigi D’Alexandro" - which was, in actuality, a duo between him and his twin brother. Eventually, his solo career came about, under the name "Domasi". The name originated from a nickname his high-school Spanish teacher gave him, being "Tomasito" - basically "little Thomas." It was shortened to "Domasi", because Thomas felt it "sounded cooler".
His first taste of fame came with his remix of Lara Fabian's "I will love again", which won a Spanish remix contest in either 2003 or 2004. From there, his first offical release, a remix of Indietro’s "Il Destino", co-produced by his Danish friend Kayzero, was released in 2004. He then formed a group known as Glozzi with Kayzero. Thomas Koch later joined Glozzi prior to its disbandment. Ever since, he has continued to work with many other musicians to produce a vast catalogue of remixes.
